What commenters say. Recommended as an example of proper hip extension and foot strike alignment during drills.

On “Toe off and Foot strike”

Isn't that second guy you 💀 I've been practicing keeping the lateral part of my foot activated and keeping it aligned under my COM, as oppose to just focusing on the big toe and medial foot arch. You can see Usain Bolt has a pronounced lateral ground contact. I also believe focusing on maintaining toe strength and alignment relates to the dragging movement in a B-skip, something Noah Lyles focuses heavily on. Bolt: [video Lyles: [video

On “Why are my legs so bent?”

Downwards hip extension which will lead to the leg straightening out and pulling back in the air slightly but without reaching out a ton (here is an example of noah lyle’s doing a b skip which kinda shows it) This guys is more kicking his foot outward to get that pull when really the focus should be on not wasting range of motion and keeping the footstrike more of a downswing instead of an out swing.
