An explanation of sprint dribbling drills and how different heights and shapes challenge posture, limb coordination, and vertical force.
Dribbling is one of the most versatile exercises around. Three heights. Two shapes. Each variation challenges how an athlete organizes posture, limbs, and force with the ground. Low, mid, high dribbles change contact time. Ankle, calf, knee shapes demand different vertical force and velocity. Each rep gives athletes context for projection angle, airtime, and limb repositioning. You see postural control, segmental awareness, and how gait can be compressed when the situation calls for a Plan B. And underneath it all sits the real challenge: landing heel-first and rolling through the foot, even when habit pulls athletes toward staying tall and up on the toes.
