What commenters say. Recommended as an effective hamstring rehabilitation and prehab protocol, though commenters note it should not replace actual sprinting.

On “Trying to return to sprinting, worries about a recurring leg injury”

Stretching hamstring injuries is generally not recommended until way out of acute phase and even then is often not a good idea (particularly prior to exercise). The askling protocol was helpful for me link to this video Generally, these hamstring strengthening exercises have a place, but should not replace actual sprinting and should be avoided if they are stealing training capacity away from sprinting, plyo, and agility exercises (all done at 50% speed scaled up slowly week over week). If sprinting and actual training is not possible, these exercises you recommend are vital. Particularly the Nordic hamstring curl and eccentric strengthening like the diver in askling.
