What commenters say. Recommended as a legendary distance running performance showing Daniel Komen breaking the eight-minute barrier for two miles.

On “Sub 8 two mile?”

Daniel Komen in 1997. He also ran 7:20 for 3k.

On “List of Indoor records broken this season (World, American, Collegiate, and HS records). Which was most impressive to you?”

It's certainly an impressive time. 8:00 has been broken outdoors though, in case you didn't know. There's a video about it here. A video of the entire 3k world record race, which is an even more impressive performance (by conversion) than the sub 8 two mile is here I suggest watching the 3k video and paying attention to the splits. It's just ridiculous.
