What commenters say. Highly recommended for its detailed tips on block setup, body angles, and maintaining a low head position during acceleration.

On “Please Critique my Form (Drive phase).”

…100m in 11.72 seconds in my opinion, but it's an ok indication i guess. You should run a 100m sprint and see how fast you are! You suffer no serious disadvantage in 200m because of your height trust me (Yohan Blake is a little lower than you and he came in second place in the London 2012 Olympics men's 200). Watch these videos for your starts: link to this video link to this video Now, the last one might seem ridiculously detail-focused for someone on a beginner level, but it'll give you an idea on what to focus on in your starts. Just do some basic sprinting drills. They are all over so shouldn't be so hard to find. Hope it all helps.…

On “Starting Blocks Form Check”

You will find a lot of good tips and great information in this video about sprint starts. link to this video One thing I did notice in your video is your head comes up almost immediately which means your chest will also come up and you won't have a very long acceleration phase. You want to try in stay in the acceleration phase as long as possible because it means you will have a longer max velocity phase meaning you won't start slowing down as early when approaching the last 25-30m Again take a look at the video because it might explain it better. It's also your first meet so try not to overthink it and just let it flow.
