4 sprinting drills that are incredibly effective at developing proper form and preparing the body for acceleration work. These drills are an essential element of sprinting workouts and are performed during most of the training year.
A Skips and B Skips can be fantastic drills when performed correctly. They can also be terrible drills when performed incorrectly. Too often coaches and athletes incorporate them into their training routine without really understanding the proper technique. When this happens athletes develop bad habits that tend to carry over into their running. Olympian and NCAA champion Ken Harnden gives a detailed breakdown of each of these drills including posture, body positions and mechanics.
Other drills include one two three and straight legged bounds. In addition to building technique, these are fantastic drills to get the nervous system and body warmed up and primed to get some solid speed work in.
Coach Harnden also talks about the importance of getting drills correct before moving on to more advanced sprint training.
Athlete Insight section features Olympian Cejhae Greene talking about the offseason and the critical role it plays in successful sprinting.

What commenters say. Highly recommended for beginners to learn proper A-skip and B-skip mechanics and to establish a foundation for sprinting form.

On “I'm new to sprints and looking to improve. I was a distance runner most of last season (which was also my first time doing track) before training sprints at the end. So far my best 10m fly was 1.10 and my best 400 was a hand-timed 54 by my coach. Any form critiques are much appreciated.”
…d acceleration phases (1 and 2). What I’m talking about is the top-speed phase (4).
Here are some videos that show a few common drills to work the leg movement in acceleration (a-skips) and top-speed (b-skips). In the b-skips you will see the “pull” action about which I was writing. Some of them are better than others…this was a quick search.

This guy does a quick but decent job of explaining how these mechanics apply to actual sprinting:

Also here’s just a video I like with a lot of slow motion sprinting so you can see it in action:…

Also work on core strength and hip strength. You are breaking at the hips but strengthing the middle area will allow you to keep better form and sprint faster.
Most important keep running every day you will get fast as fuk :D
drills, drills, drills and focus on it in training until it becomes second nature (i personally don’t think abt it in a race)
