On “Biggest underdog performance”
Billy Mills in the 10,000m at the 1964 Olympics.
Ron Clarke, a well known runner, was the favorite. Billy Mills has a PB a minute slower than Clarke and was a total no name. Mills hung with Clarke through the bell lap, Clarke gave him some pushes but it didn't matter, Mills dug deep, swing out to lane four in the home stretch and took home gold.
"Look at Mills! Look at Mills!". I get chills every time.
