On “How can I improve? Any tips are welcome. (5’10 jumping 6’ pr) Also, I hit 6’ indoor with normal sprint spikes (in the video) but bought high jump spikes and failed 5’6 and 5’8 in them, anyone know why?”

You should push out forward harder out of your first few steps. You seem pretty explosive and like you could really get a good push. This will help clean up some of the choppiness as you transition into your curve and also give you enough momentum to really run a curve. That lack of a true curve is why you’re not fully rotating over the bar. If you imagine yourself from an aerial view, you’re not perpendicular to the bar when you’re at your peak over the bar, your head is pointing to the back right of the mat and your hips are uneven. You’ve gotta let the approach do the work for you. Here’s a good explainer video: link to this video

Funny enough I am 6’2 and have the same exact vert as well. This is my 3rd year of doing high jump, and with bad form I can get over 5’4-5’6. You might pickup the technique depending on how well you adapt to certain positions. Watch Juvaughn Harrison high jump clips, and there are some good stretches you can do to prep. Here is a good Video to watch. Hope this helps a little and good luck (:
