Evan Jager falls at the final barrier of the 2015 Paris Diamond League steeplechase but still sets an American record.

At the Paris leg of the 2015 IAAF Diamond League, Evan Jager was out to break the eight minute barrier, and as he turned on to the home straight, it looked like nothing could stop the American. The world watched in shock as Jager clipped the final barrier with his trailing foot and stumbled as he hit the track. Though he recovered quickly from his fall, the USATF star couldn't quite make up the lost time, clocking .45, a bittersweet American record.
