What commenters say. Recommended as an excellent visual example of an elite block start and to study her unique recovery mechanics.

On “My coach has been telling me I pop up too high for my starts? I don’t really know how to fix this can anyone give me any advice? (I’d appreciate visual critics if you could)”

I lack the ability to describe it properly, but I'll post a link to Fraser Pryce, she's an amazing starter. link to this video

Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce Block Start I'm of course not trying to criticize her start because it's Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce and her start has been working perfectly for her for more than a decade. But I noticed in videos of her starts she begins to full cycle right our of the blocks opposed to the low heel recovery that is usually taught during starts. Are there advantages too full cycling out of the blocks or is it something that just Shelly can get away with? Here's the video: [video
