What commenters say. Recommended for studying starting block mechanics, heel recovery, ground contact times, and muscle activation during sprinting.

On “Starting Block Practice, Advice Please!!”

Firstly, place of block isn't true in my opinion. Do a explosive jump in first stride. Rise your knee up. Also heel recovery is high for acceleration mechanics. link to this video

On “I believe ground contact time isn't my major problem, probably my problem is flying?”

* Your first step, you are not fully extending your back leg and your back is curved. You should be able to draw a straight line from back heel to head. * Your arms come too far back straight (not a big deal) * Your heel recovery is too high on your first few steps. * It would be good to have a video on a track with spikes, as this is more accurate of what you would do in a race. * Watch this link to this video with english closed captioning

This track is famous for track and field athletes , correct? I think they even filmed Asafa Powell’s Arte documentary in early 2008 before the world knew about Bolt! link to this video

On “Need more speed to improve my long jump. Can you see anything from my approach that could be adjusted?”

> The more time you spend on the ground the slower you are Not always, not as a rule for sure. Asafa powell spends more time on the ground than gay, but is faster.
