What commenters say. Highly recommended for sprinters needing to correct inefficient arm swing and long arm levers.

On “Any tips or comments for improving my form ”

Biggest thing that jumps out, is your arm action. Your arms are on a long lever, which will slow down your turnover and increase the amount of contact time your feet spend on the ground. Here’s a 3 1/2 min video by the OutPerform Channel on YouTube about the importance of proper arm action in sprinting: link to this video

Yiubarm position and movements are not efficient. YOUR elbows are pointing out, and you're barely moving your arms. link to this video

On “Tips on running form that is more energy efficient.”

Arm swing is from elbows instead of from shoulder. You are losing power with that. Stop the video at 4 seconds and you can see arm is at like 45 degree angle. Were you tired? You may need a stronger core and upper body to drive with power. The straight back makes it look like you are tired. 200 time is decent. Maybe try 400 too. And the jerking head movement is robbing you of power too. Should be smooth movements. [video

On “ran a 7.3 as a 16 yr old sophomore for my first 60m is that a good starting point? I then ran a 23.7 my first 200m time and 23.8 my second one. What do I need to work on? (guy in blue jersey)”

Solid times bro! 🔥🔥🔥 You look a little upright when you run, so leaning forward slightly more could be beneficial. Also, your arms are also doing something interesting - they look a little too straight. Look at this 3 minute video from the OutPerform channel on YouTube: link to this video Good luck! 🍀

On “First 100m of the season(lane 4 1st)”

when you reached top speed you sort of straightened your arms which means you will have a longer pendulum and that will take more effort to move. You would typically want your arms bent around 90 degrees though its fine if they open up slightly in the back and tighten up in front. Here's an outperform video: [video
