On “Block start feedback”

\-Not enough hip flexion (knees are too low) \-You are striking the ground with too much external rotation (toes point outwards), which is also causing you to have a gait that is too wide and wobbly Try to strike the ground as close to your center of mass as possible, both forwards-backwards and lateral-medially. There are other issues as well but let's start here. Exercises: \-Sit-ups to develop hip flexors. Progress with weight when you can do 40 \-Hamstring curls to unlock your legs \-Adductor/Abductor machine to control lateral placement of your foot In this short video you can see how Usain keeps his knees close together instead of running from a wide base: [video

On “How do I run a .99 10m fly but run a 4.9 40 Yard”

…vertical even though it's only like 10 yards into the sprint. Your acceleration basically stops at 10 yards as well, as oppose to peaking at around 40-60 yards for top sprinters. Here's the old Jamaican team doing 40m and you can see how their heel drops gradually over 40m, as oppose to instantly becoming flat footed after the first few strides: [video You also lose your forward lean by 20 yards which means your core is disengaging too early. Exercises- For heel elevation: 1. Hamstring curl 2. Tibialis Anterior raises 3. Mindfulness For forward lean: 1. weighted sit-ups 2. Isolation for spinal erectors 3. Any track drill that emphasizes high knees Genetics are definitely not a fa…

On “What's wrong with my body angle ?”

It's killing me that i can't figure out why my body angle at the first 10-12 steps doesnt look remotely close to that of pros. Look at how low blake stays, how do i get that ? it seems he bends from the waist eventhough ever coach in the world says dont bend at the waist. am confused as fuck lol
