On “Critique my start. Yes I know it sucks it's my first time using blocks so please don't be too harsh :C.”

Looks like the blocks could be slightly closer. Here’s a really good video on Carl Lewis’ coach talking about block starts. Tom Tellez block starts

…st and spend most of your time recovering). Switch to something more balanced as soon as improvements stop coming in. One of the worst things about the program is that you don't have the volume of slower reps at sub-max intensity to really lock in good form. Do tons of film review with your son to mitigate this, and maybe check out these vids: [video [video…

your setup could be improved a lot. most visible thing is your arms being be t and shoulders too low. this is in turn throwing off your leg angles. if you're not pushing at thr appropriate angle off the front block, you cant really achieve a good explosive, acceleration drive in the first few steps. i've been using the mechanics described here to help some of my athletes improve their setup position. jump to around 5:50 if you're impatient. fwiw your drive doesn't look bad but tweaking your position will help achieve a more optimal first few steps also check out coach Tony Holler on youtube, he has some good videos analyzing sprint starts

Use big arm action like in the video to control this, because your legs do what your arms do. Some sort of actual sprinting up to 5 days per week is probably the best training for someone a…

I saw that information on a video by Carl Lewis: link to this video I have always been a bit confused on what the information really means as the video does not go to much in depth, so I came here to clear up my confusion.
