Chris Korfist explains how to reach maximum velocity through leg slice, angular velocity, and ground contact.

Discussing how to reach max velocity... Slice, Angular Velocity, & Ground Contact Too many times, in amateur athletics, an athletes career gets cut short based on the fact that they are simply just not fast enough to play “at the next level”. Whether it is a 40 yd dash, 60 yd dash or a big vertical jump, we aim to get you the times and heights you need to turn heads and get noticed. Slowguyspeedschool.com Instagram: Coach Chris Korfist

On “I post a lot and sorry but I dont have people to help. I’m in lane 2”

It’s kind of hard to tell from this video what is limiting you. What I can tell you is to be the best sprinter you can be, you need to educate yourself. It’s awesome that you are here seeking feedback. But if you spend some time listening to knowledgable folks on Youtube and on podcats, things will start to click for you in a new way. I think Chris Korfist and the folks he references really know their stuff. I recommend checking out these videos. On “Any tips on technique?”

You have zero “slice”. Your foot passively contacts the ground. It should be driving down and maybe slightly backward at contact. link to this video My guess is you have weak hip flexors (this includes core muscles like psoas). If your hip flexors are weak, you can’t pull your knee up effectively which is required to slice.
