What commenters say. Recommended as a helpful guide to understanding the drive phase, shin angles, and proper foot contact during acceleration.

On “What can I improve on?”

1. You are running flat footer- when you run you want the part of the shoes that have spikes to touch the ground first. When you run step angrily into the ground 2. I can't tell from these clips but you're not in your drive phase or your drive phase is too short. A drive phase is the period of time when you build up speed through acceleration. It's different for everybody but you usually want to be in ur drive phase from 0-30M. [this video is a little long but I think it does a good job of explaining what a drive phase is] 3. You run too straight or upright. When you run it should be a natural thing, your body should be relaxed and flexible. I couldn't really see that much from those cli…

On “could you rate my 11 month sprinting improvement?”

link to this video I watched that and then I just kinda got it. You stab because you try to get your foot under you to triple extend. I focus on the angle of my shins on contact as your shin angle will determine which direction you triple extend into and the shins don’t move on contact, what moves is the rest of your body to get in line so yh. I didn’t do any exercises to understand I just did but if i had to suggest some I’d say walking lunges but you pull your front leg back to move forwards instead of stepping forwards

On “How can I improve my block start & Form?”

The thing your missing is the drive phase. Push backwards instead of up as other commenters said. Watch some form videos on YT: link to this video Any video of asafa Powell would be good to watch. Dude was a clinic in that every race
