Stu McMillan showcases four elite sprinters executing block starts, demonstrating how different athletes find unique technical solutions to the same instruction.

This video shows 4 very unique movement solutions. The 100m PRs of each of the four athletes on the left (from left to right) are 10.16, 9.97, 10.11, 10.06. ALTIS CEO - Stu McMillan coached all of these athletes, & their coaching instruction was similar. However, it's clear that each athlete clearly has his own technical solution – the intention is the same, but the outcome is very different. So, when coaching technique, we have four options: ▶️Do nothing ▶️Apply one model to all athletes, despite their inherent differences ▶️Design an individualized model for every athlete ▶️Mailbox athletes into categories based upon the commonalities of how they ‘most naturally’ solve movement problems How do you figure out what's the right path?
