What commenters say. Highly recommended as an excellent, detailed presentation on sprint mechanics and drills by a top coach.

On “My strides are opening up now but why does it still look like I am going nowhere?”

You get out but I don't think you have a transition to upright running.... I see a straight leg bound when you should be striking down directly below your body (or at least attempting to), and you are "sitting" in your upright position instead of "standing tall". All of that is leaking power that should be going into the ground. You can fix this, work on drills to get a full hip extension, and to bring the foot under the body once upright. Drills, Drills, Drills. Watch this: [video

On “How to attack back into the ground?”

Watch these videos. Might help. Better than trying to explain with words. There's many different ways of attacking the ground. Some do it volitionally. Others invoke the flex-extension reflex. Others learn the technique through dribbles etc and mini hurdles or wickets. link to this video link to this video link to this video link to this video

On “What sprinting technique/form videos do you guys recommend?”

Here's one I saw for the first time recently. I know it's long, and you have to wait for them to translate everything, but it's a good video and worth the time.

On “sprinters of reddit please help my sprinting technique as a football player to get to the next level. Any tips would be helpful”

Holy shit dude, I presume it was you who gilded me, thanks so much that really made my day haha. Here's the video : link to this video That guy coaches many of Britain's top sprinters, and the 2012 Olympic long jump champ, so yeah he knows what he's talking about. He actually goes through the most important drills in that video. Personally I think it's hard to learn the drills from a video compared to with a coach, but it can be done if you record yourself and see what you're doing wrong. I've been doing them for a good while now and I definitely haven't perfected them. Seeing as you're starting out you should feel a big improvement by doing what I said in the other post. You should just feel mor…

On “100m sprint Advice needed just want to know what I could have done better. I’m the black kid in lane 2”

Hey I'm going to try and share this YouTube link on here and hopefully it posts. This is one of the better sprint videos I've come across. It's long but if you're serious its worth it. I have no connection to the video but it will help with ground contact and your cycle mechanics. link to this video

What's the difference between these two A-skips? What's the difference between this A-skip: link to this video as seen starting at 6:17, and the more common A-skip demonstrated here: link to this video as seen at minute 4:55. I do both but I'd like to know what the different take-aways are here.

You say you're willing to spend money, so I'll first mention Complete Sprint Training Volume 3. It comes with volume 2 and a few other great resources. Other sites with articles to read would be speedendurance.com and freelapusa.com. Here's a good video about sprint form, definitely worth the watch.

On “Underlying coaching philosophy in developing sprinters ability”

I saw this lecture by Jonas TD today (watch it if u haven't done that already) and noticed that it was posted here two years ago. People were asking for part two here and on youtube comments. I was able to find it with google and thought some of you might find it interesting. Enjoy!
